Polyester ESD-safe cleanroom swabs are designed for precision cleaning where electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage components, but traditional anti-static additives could add particles or ions. Texwipe’s polyester ESD swabs use a Stat-Rite® inherently dissipative polymer handle to provide durable ESD protection without blooming carbon, metals, or ionic anti-static contaminants into the process.

The swab head is made from laundered Alpha® 100% knit polyester, giving an extremely clean, low-lint tip with low extractables (NVR) and excellent compatibility with IPA and other cleanroom solvents. Construction is complete thermal bond (adhesive-free) to prevent glue-based contamination, and swabs are precision manufactured for consistent head shape and reliable cleaning performance.

Polyester ESD swabs are commonly used for applying/removing lubricants or adhesives, scrubbing recessed areas, cleaning intersecting joints, removing excess debris, and solvent wipe-downs in semiconductor, microelectronics, PCB/SMT, HDD, and other ISO-classified cleanrooms.
