CleanFoam® Series A – Closed-Cell Foam Cleanroom Swabs
Durable, low-particle swabs for rigorous cleaning and controlled solvent delivery.
CleanFoam® Series A swabs use 100 PPI closed-cell (non-reticulated) polyurethane foam, giving them a denser, tougher tip than open-cell foam swabs. Closed-cell foam has greater durability and scrubbing strength with reduced liquid penetration, so it’s preferred when you need to remove stubborn residues, clean sharper features, or apply lubricants/solutions precisely without over-absorbing. The foam remains soft and non-abrasive, protecting delicate components while staying highly chemical-resistant.
Like all Texwipe CleanFoam® swabs, Series A is made with complete thermal-bond construction (no adhesives) to eliminate glue contamination risk, and is cleanroom processed for low ions and non-volatile residues (NVR/extractables). They’re precision manufactured for consistent head geometry and packaged cleanroom-ready in silicone-free, amide-free bags with lot traceability.
