General Purpose cleanroom swabs are designed for routine tasks where you still want cleanroom-made consistency, but don’t need the ultra-low-lint performance of critical-zone swabs. Texwipe’s General-Purpose Swab Series was developed specifically for industrial and general cleanroom applications, using clean, repeatable construction to support reliable wiping in ISO Class 6–8 areas, gowning rooms, anterooms, and other support zones.

The series includes multiple tip types to match different jobs: polyester “honeycomb” heads that boost absorbency and capture larger particles, and polyurethane foam heads for fiber-free cleaning and controlled solvent handling. All are manufactured with complete thermal-bond (adhesive-free) construction to eliminate glue contamination risk and produced on automated equipment for consistent head geometry and lot-to-lot performance. Use General Purpose swabs for applying or absorbing adhesives, greases, and liquids, spot cleaning fixtures, and tools, removing excess materials, and accessing tight or recessed areas where wipes can’t reach.
