Texwipe’s Cleaning Validation Series swabs are engineered specifically for surface sampling in cleaning validation protocols—helping teams verify that equipment and process areas are meeting residue and bioburden limits required by regulated industries. These swabs are built for consistent, accurate sample recovery across both specific analytical methods (HPLC, UV-Vis, IMS) and non-specific methods like TOC (Total Organic Carbon), and they perform reliably with a wide range of diluents.

The series includes Low-TOC Alpha® polyester knit swabs (green-handled), which are further cleaned to extremely low background TOC to prevent false positives—making them ideal for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and API manufacturing validation. Options like TX714K and TX761K support TOC recovery goals, while Alpha® and Absorbond® validation swabs are widely used for HPLC/UV-Vis sampling in ISO-classified cleanrooms and critical manufacturing suites.

For faster, more controlled sampling, Texwipe also offers TOC/HPLC Cleaning Validation Kits that package swabs, low-TOC vials, and cleanroom labels in cleanroom-compatible boxes, reducing handling errors and contamination risk from sampling site to lab.
