TX3215 SterileWipe AS10 12" x 12" Polyester Cleanroom Wiper

TX3215 SterileWipe AS10 is a low-linting (no wiper is truly ‘zero-lint’ in every process condition), high-sorbency, sealed-border polyester knit wiper built for critical sterile environments. It is a two-ply, double-knit construction made from 100% continuous-filament polyester, and each package is gamma-irradiated to a 10−6 Sterility Assurance Level to support use in aseptic fill areas, sterile suites, prep rooms, and other sterile workflows.

Program note: TX3215 is commonly specified when teams want a larger 12" x 12" sterile wipe that can carry higher liquid load for disinfection and wet wipe-downs, while relying on thermally sealed borders to help reduce particle and fiber release at the perimeter during rigorous wiping.

About the Manufacturer:

Texwipe (an ITW company) positions sterile wiping materials as engineered inputs for contamination-control programs where sterility assurance, lot traceability, and documentation discipline are part of routine quality review. In the SterileWipe™ AS10 platform, Texwipe pairs a high-sorbency, two-ply double-knit polyester with sealed borders and gamma irradiation intended to support critical sterile use cases and minimize handling-driven contamination risk at the point of use.

SOSCleanroom (SOS) supports that sterility-and-documentation posture with continuity of supply and practical application support, plus the clean handoff teams typically require (lot identification, certificates and compliance paperwork as applicable) to maintain procurement reliability and audit readiness.

TX3215 Features:
  • Gamma irradiated to 10−6 Sterility Assurance Level, according to AAMI Guidelines
  • Lot specified information on each shipment simplifies record keeping
  • Certificate of Processing confirming radiation dosage
  • Certification of Compliance
  • Expiration date marked on each package
  • Cleanroom-laundered 100% polyester knit with thermally sealed borders
  • Large surface area with excellent sorbency
  • Independent quality control audits for sterility assurance
TX3215 Benefits:
  • Chemical-use flexibility: Withstands exposure to common cleaning and disinfecting solutions including bleaches, phenols, and quaternary ammonium compounds (verify compatibility to your chemistry and SOP).
  • Large-volume wet work: 12" x 12" format and liquid capacity can simplify application of larger volumes of cleaning and disinfecting solutions.
  • Contamination control in sterile areas: Extremely low levels of releasable particles and fibers are positioned as consistent with sterile Class 100 environment requirements (process-dependent).
  • Bag introduction control: Packaging supports alcohol wipe-down of the exterior bag before introducing the inner bag into sterile suites.
  • Rigorous wiping strength: Designed for strong wipe-downs with minimal release of fibers and particles; smooth glide over surfaces.
  • Traceability posture: Supports quality review of individual lots and lot-to-lot traceability.
Common Applications:
  • Engineered for high-sorbency use in the most critical sterile cleanroom environments
  • Sterile wiping of environmental surfaces and production equipment in aseptic fill areas
  • Applying larger volumes of cleaning, sterilizing, and disinfecting solutions
Best-Practice Use:
  • Stage the outer bag correctly: Wipe down the exterior bag per your sterile suite entry practice; open only when you are ready to transfer the inner bag.
  • Fold for control: Fold into consistent pads to create multiple clean faces; rotate faces instead of re-wiping with a loaded surface.
  • Wipe pattern: Use straight-line, overlapping strokes (top-to-bottom or left-to-right) to reduce redeposition.
  • Wet-load control: For disinfectant application, use controlled wetness to maintain contact intent without dripping; reapply solution via SOP rather than overloading the wipe.
  • Change-out triggers: Replace the wiper when a face becomes visibly loaded, starts smearing, or leaves residue.
Selection Notes (TX3215 vs. Other Options)
  • TX3215 vs. 9" x 9" sterile options: Select TX3215 when coverage per wipe and higher solution capacity matter; use smaller sterile formats when access is tight or when you want more frequent wipe changes for control.
  • Sterile knit vs. blended nonwoven: Sterile knit polyester is often selected for strength and controlled wiping under load; blended nonwoven options may be preferred for certain absorption profiles or general surface maintenance (process-dependent).
  • Edge construction: If edge risk is part of your particulate control strategy, prioritize sealed-border or sealed-edge constructions and confirm acceptance criteria in receiving/qualification.
