Sterile Purified Water for Cleanrooms

USP-grade sterile water for aseptic dilution, rinsing, and final-clean steps in critical environments.

Sterile purified water is used in cleanrooms when water must be introduced into an aseptic or ISO/GMP area without adding microbial or endotoxin risk. Unlike non-sterile DI water, sterile water is produced to USP Purified Water specifications, 0.2 µm filtered, and terminally gamma-irradiated to SAL 10⁻⁶, then packaged in cleanroom-ready, multi-bag configurations with lot codes and expiration dating for audit traceability.

Cleanroom teams rely on sterile purified water for diluting sterile disinfectants to validated strengths, rinsing after detergent or sporicidal steps, and wipe/rinse processes where any non-sterile water could compromise room control or product safety. In regulated pharma/biotech workflows, sterile purified water supports compliant cleaning when USP PW is required but not readily available at point of use, while higher-grade operations may step up to WFI for parenteral product contact or final rinses per SOP.
