Foam Cleanroom Wipers

Fiber-free polyurethane wipes for high absorbency and precision solvent control.

Foam cleanroom wipers are made from reticulated (open-cell) polyurethane foam, giving you a true fiber-free wipe that won’t shed lint like knitted or nonwoven fabrics. The uniform open-cell structure acts like a sponge: it rapidly absorbs liquids, traps particles, and releases solvents in a controlled way, making foam wipes ideal for spill pickup, solution application, and cleaning uneven or delicate surfaces.

In controlled environments, foam wipers are commonly chosen when you need maximum sorbency with minimal particle risk. Many cleanroom-grade foam wipes use high-porosity constructions (often around 100 pores-per-inch) that increase liquid capacity and particle entrapment while staying soft and non-abrasive—useful for cleaning tools, fixtures, equipment faces, and sensitive components. Foam wipers are also widely used as solvent and disinfectant applicators because they hold chemistry without dripping and help deliver even surface coverage.
