Microfiber cleanroom wipers are designed for applications where a standard polyester wipe doesn’t grab enough fine contamination. Made from ultrafine split fibers in a polyester/nylon blend (often around 80/20 or 70/30), microfiber creates a dense, soft wiping surface with greater contact area and superior particle entrapment. This structure lifts oils, fingerprints, and micro-particulates efficiently while staying non-abrasive on scratch-sensitive surfaces.

Because microfiber wipers combine ultra-low linting with high cleaning efficiency, they’re commonly used for final wipe-downs, optics and lens cleaning, sensor and display prep, precision electronics, and critical surface maintenance in ISO-classified cleanrooms and labs. The high fiber surface area can improve cleaning effectiveness and, in many processes, helps reduce the need for aggressive solvents while still delivering a streak-free finish. Many styles are offered as sealed-edge or sealed-border wipes to minimize edge shedding in more critical zones.
