Nylon cleanroom wipers are chosen when you need a soft, highly absorbent wipe with added abrasion resistance. Made from continuous-filament nylon knit, these wipes hold up well to repeated wiping and light scrubbing while still keeping linting low compared with standard industrial cloths. The knit structure also gives nylon a naturally “textured” feel that helps lift residues without being harsh on delicate parts.

In critical environments, nylon wipers are especially useful for tasks that benefit from controlled scrubbing and surface safety. They’re commonly used for spill control and general wiping, cleaning and polishing magnetic media, and precision cleaning of optical and photomask surfaces where you want strong sorbency but a non-abrasive touch. Many nylon cleanroom wipes are cleanroom laundered/packaged for low ions and low nonvolatile residues (NVRs), and offer good compatibility with IPA, ethanol, and other standard cleanroom solvents.
