Polypropylene/cellulose cleanroom wipers are engineered for applications that need rapid absorbency and clean wipe performance without stepping up to ultra-critical knit polyester. These nonwoven composite wipes typically pair a polypropylene layer for strength, low particle generation, and chemical resistance with a cellulose core for high sorption and fast wicking. The result is a low-lint, highly absorbent wipe that handles both aqueous solutions and common cleanroom solvents efficiently.

Because cellulose is naturally hydrophilic and polypropylene is tough and low-extractable, this blend is a strong choice for general cleanroom cleaning, spill pickup, and solution application in ISO Class 5–8 cleanrooms, labs, and controlled manufacturing areas. Many polypropylene/cellulose wipes are produced via hydroentangled (binder-free) processes to keep extractables and residues low, supporting consistent wipe-downs on benches, equipment surfaces, and workstations.
