Enhanced Absorbency Polyester Wipes for Critical Cleaning
Alphasorb 10 polyester cleanroom wipes are engineered to provide both the low-lint performance of continuous filament polyester and increased liquid absorption capacity. This combination allows the wipe to effectively manage solvents while maintaining strict contamination control required in particle-sensitive manufacturing environments.
Continuous filament polyester fibers minimize lint generation compared with traditional staple-fiber wiping materials. When combined with sealed-edge processing and cleanroom laundering, Alphasorb 10 wipes provide reliable wipe integrity for ISO Class 3–5 cleanrooms where particle contamination must be tightly controlled.
The enhanced sorbent structure allows wipes to absorb and distribute solvents such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or DI water more effectively, making them well suited for solvent wipe-down procedures across semiconductor tools, optics, stainless steel surfaces, and critical equipment.
Continuous Filament Polyester Technology
Continuous Filament Polyester Fibers:
Long polyester filaments significantly reduce particle generation compared with staple fiber wiping materials.
Enhanced Sorbency Structure:
Alphasorb construction improves the wipe’s liquid retention and distribution performance during solvent cleaning procedures.
Laser-Sealed Edges:
Edge sealing prevents loose fibers and maintains wipe integrity during repeated wiping operations.
Fast Selection Guidance
  • ISO 3–5 cleanrooms: sealed-edge polyester wipes support critical contamination control.
  • Solvent wipe-down procedures: enhanced sorbency improves solvent distribution.
  • Semiconductor tool cleaning: suitable for wafer processing equipment.
