The HyFlex® 11-735 platform targets a common “middle lane” in facilities: sharp-edge exposure that is frequent enough to require meaningful cut protection, but still requires dexterity for assembly and inspection. That’s why the coating is polyurethane (control and feel) and the liner is tuned for cut performance.

Cut ratings: EN ISO Cut C and ANSI/ISEA A4 are not interchangeable labels

Many sites see both EN and ANSI markings across suppliers. ANSI/ISEA 105 uses A-levels (A1–A9) to communicate cut resistance, while EN 388 includes an ISO cut letter (A–F). Your PPE program should standardize around the hazard profile and verify ratings on the glove marking and product spec sheet.

Why PU palm coating matters for safety

Polyurethane palm coatings are often selected for controlled handling—good “feel” with stable friction. That can reduce grip over-force (white-knuckling) and help minimize dropped-part incidents during repetitive assembly or staging.

What “abrasion resistance” changes operationally

In high-contact work (totes, racks, metal edges), abrasion drives coating loss and fingertip thinning. A glove that sustains abrasion performance longer reduces the probability of late-shift failures when handling urgency increases.
