A number of our customers have a few favorite Texwipe products that they turn to again and again, and when something works extremely well, there’s not much of a reason to switch to something else. For example, the lint-free TX1009 Dry Wiper is a 9” x 9” cleanroom wiper that is beloved in cleanrooms everywhere for its ease of use, affordability, and high sorptive capacity.

However, many of Texwipe’s other products have also made it onto our favorites list, and we thought we’d share about these products so that our customers can also have the chance to try these things out and reap the benefits in cleanroom operations everywhere.

Disinfectants and Solutions

We are huge fans of using a 70% Isopropanol Alcohol Solution because of its effective, fast work to disinfect surfaces and kill microorganisms. Texwipe offers sterile and regular solutions of 70% Isopropanol in spray bottles or refill bottles in 8-oz, 16-oz, and 1-gallon sizes that you can order by the case or by the individual bottle. Your cleanroom procedures may also require the use of 70% Denatured Ethanol Solution or a dilute hydrogen peroxide solution, and whether you need 4% Hydrogen Peroxide RTU Solution, or 7.5% Hydrogen Peroxide RTU Solution, Texwipe offers all of these options in various size dispensers.

Sticky Mats

Every time someone walks in or out of a cleanroom, there’s a risk that they will carry contaminants with them, and the soles of shoes are some of the biggest culprits. Mitigate this risk with sticky mats (also called tacky mats). No matter what size doorway your cleanroom has, use Texwipe’s non-skid sticky mat frame and then choose the right size of CleanStep Adhesive Sticky Mat sheets to insert into the frame. Our favorite is the 36” x 46” sticky mat, because it is long enough to provide the standard two footfalls for each foot. You can also choose other dimensions, such as 18" x 36", 18" x 46", 25" x 45", or 24" x 36". These adhesive sticky mats come in a package with 240 sheets.

Paper Products

Paper, you say? That’s not allowed in your cleanroom, you say? Precisely. But even in a cleanroom, you sometimes need to be able to write things down, and Texwipe has come out with a number of excellent options for the convenience of cleanroom operators. We love staying organized with the TX5810 TexWrite Three-Ring Cleanroom Binder, and for taking notes on the go, we’re torn between two favorites, the TX5741 TexWrite 5.5" x 8.5" White Cleanroom Spiral Notebook and the TX5835 TexWrite 9" x 13" Cleanroom Clipboard. Then, of course, there’s a multitude of different paper products that come in different weights, different colors, and different options of having 3 holes punched in them or not. For all purpose use, try the TX5815 TexWrite Medium-Weight 8.5" x 11" White Cleanroom Paper, and for heavy or frequent use, you might want to consider the TX5862 TexWrite Light-Weight 8.5" x 11" Blue Cleanroom Paper.
